Hi, Techies! We’ve talked about how to enter the tech industry and how to succeed there, but many of you have been in touch to say that you have trouble just “doing.” We’ll look at how to move fearfully in this place in big, tiny moves.

Plans are good. Plans are great. But plans that aren’t acted upon are as good as dead. If you’re new here, Hi there! Welcome to this read of Tech & Techies. We’ll be exploring how to plan and take action.

Most of the ideas we have tend to just be “plans” and never go through to become an actual “testimony.” We may have had plans to upload a few of our projects or just a thought we’ve always had, or even to shoot shots at companies to secure the bag. What causes this? I’ve identified a few obstacles that are keeping you from carrying out your plan. You, Your Mind, and the Beliefs You Feed Yourself Are One Of The Not So Obvious Causes. Consistency and perfectionism are also present. Let’s elaborate on these things.

We frequently cause our own problems. We put ourselves in a bind. You don’t trust me? How often have you considered everything that may possibly go wrong with the work you do? Or how often have you assumed others are superior to you based just on their demeanor? Precisely. In this reading, we’ll discuss that. Breathe deeply and assure yourself that you will overcome this. It is up to you to decide whether to stay in that sensation or go past it. You are more than enough, and everyone has experienced what you are feeling right now.

Your identity transcends your emotions. Just accepting unpleasant feelings will make them gradually into your reality if you decide to stay. Your feelings will gradually infiltrate your head, and once there, they’ll find a method to influence your reality. So, how can we control our emotions? through making use of the influence that words have. I put a lot of stock in statements. Speak what you wish to see to be seen. Speaking your confidence into reality will help you act confidently. You create your world by speaking it.

Another thing that’s preventing us from progressing is the delicious rubbish your mind feeds you. You want to publish something, but you worry about trolls, you don’t think your following will increase, or you don’t think your post will trend the way you want it to. Everything there is just stuff. What if you become popular? What if your next job offer comes in? We have hundreds of bad what-ifs and millions of happy ones. Select carefully.

Being consistent is a big deal-breaker. I’ve been there before, and if you’re someone who cares a lot about your long-term reputation, the idea of consistency should terrify you. I placed a lot of importance on developing a strong brand, and the fear of falling short of expectations prevented me from doing so. Because we are perfectionists, we become overburdened and preoccupied with creating plans that will convey the appearance of consistency, but we never actually follow them out. Nothing is truly perfect, but imperfections are used to create lasting things. Don’t spend too much time planning that you overlook doing.

That’s enough about our blocks. It’s time to get to the fun part, Execution. We’ve discovered our poisons and now we are linking them to remedies.

Breaking your goals into tiny objectives. Breaking things down makes things a lot easier for you because it removes pressure and saves you from being overwhelmed. Don’t give yourself a hard time planning elaborately for what you want in 5 years. Plan with what is right in front of you. Take it one step at a time and enjoy your process.

Don’t use someone as your entire yardstick. In as much as it’s okay to have mentors and people you look up to, your journey is uniquely yours. Your process will not be exactly like theirs. Your results will not be exactly like theirs and you need to embrace it. Love and trust your journey.

It is underrated to have a partner in accountability. You ought to have a backup, preferably an expert in your sector. Always remember to cooperate rather than to compete harshly. You need someone to assist you to keep track of your development because doing so speeds up the process and enables you to form strong, lifelong bonds. Finding an accountability partner doesn’t have to be difficult. It could take some trial and error before you find the right one. Be welcoming to all. Communities are an excellent place to find partners for accountability.

It’s a good indication that you’re doing something worthwhile when you act out of fear. Your presence despite your fear demonstrates your courage, which is a quality of outstanding people. Techie, have faith in yourself. You easily complete difficult tasks. You do things afraid, and you excel at tasks.
